The Milan United Cricket Club (MUCC) is a premier league club established on the 2nd December, 2007, with an objective to promote and make cricket the sport of choice for people of all ethnicities in Italy.
Our mission is to create pathways for all participants to fulfil their potential, promoting the game with passion and enthusiasm, offering everyone the opportunity to be involved and to make their experience fun and enjoyable.
Its contributions to cricket in particular, has given it a unique position in the history of not only Italy but the entire world.
The MUCC is ranked amongst the top 10 in the country under B Series continuing its journey victory after victory with the passion and commitment of its skilled team members and the staff.
The club joined the three main officially recognised tournaments, Premier League Division B, Coppa Italia and Lombardia League – Italy. Which was then progressed to become Lombardia League Championships in 2013.
As of now, the club carryout its practices every Sunday in Centro Sportivo Kennedy, Milan.
Board of Directors
There is a Board of Directors managing the activities of the MUCC on behalf of the members. The directors include four senior personnels from Milan, Egambarage Hurman Sumith Ruddrigu (President), ………………………..(Vice president), ……………………… (Secretary) & ……………………… (Official Score-man) emphasising the close working relationship that exist in the county between the professional and recreational aspects of the game. It also includes the Executive Director, Anjalee who is responsible for the day to day running of the Board’s professional staff.
